Muriel Berkeley

Muriel Berkeley, Ph.D. - PRESIDENT

Dr. Muriel Berkeley founded the Baltimore Curriculum Project in conjunction with the Abell Foundation in 1996, and continues to work with principals on issues of human resources, curriculum, and professional development. Prior to founding BCP, she had extensive experience in Baltimore City schools as a teacher and program director.

She has served as Education Director of the Greater Baltimore Committee, Interim Dean of Continuing Education at the Community College of Baltimore, and a Senior Research Scientist at George Washington University. In addition to her experience as an elementary and middle school teacher, Dr. Berkeley has taught at George Washington University, Towson University, and Goucher College.
