    What’s your favorite Govans memory?

“My favorite memory from Govans is when we made it to the state championship in the First Lego League Challenge.”

Read about the team’s win in April 2023.

How did Govans prepare you for Roland Park?

“Govans prepared me for Roland Park because of how the teachers set high expectations for turning in our work on time. By the time I left Govans, it had become routine. In addition, Govans prepared me academically. When I got to Roland Park, I was already familiar with much of the content and felt confident that I already knew how to do a lot.”

    Plans for after Roland Park?

“After middle school, I would like to go to Baltimore Polytechnic Institute and study engineering or robotics.”

Congrats, Zaire, on all you’re accomplishing!

Govans Elementary School is proud to be a partner feeder school with Bridges. Zaire is part of Bridges’ 13-year program that provides individualized academic and school placement support and summer/school year programming for students from age 9 to 23.
