WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE HHA MEMORY?
“Being a part of Leaders Go Places was one of my favorite memories. It set HHA apart by fostering a culture of accountability, hard work, and positive behavior. It helped me strive to always do my best not only academically but personally to earn the rewards that came with the program, especially the trips.
Another experience that I can say truly shaped me as a person was my Outward-Bound experience. At the time, it challenged me in ways I had never experienced before, but looking back, it was one of the most meaningful and transformative opportunities I’ve ever had. From navigating difficult terrain to working as a team through unexpected challenges, I gained lifelong lessons in resilience, perseverance and connection. The bond I formed with my group during that trip is something we still talk and laugh about to this day.”
HOW DID HHA IMPACT YOUR EDUCATION AND LIFE?
“HHA shaped me into the person I am today by surrounding me with educators who felt like family and a community that felt like home. The school instilled in me a strong work ethic, a sense of responsibility, and the importance of meaningful relationships. HHA consistently demonstrates excellence in both academic and character development, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have been a part of such a loving community.
I was supposed to go to a private school, but my parents decided last minute to send me to HHA. Thank goodness they did!”

CAREER:
Physicians Liaison for a Maryland Vascular Specialist.
“I act as a bridge between our physicians and referring providers, focusing on building and maintaining strong professional relationships.I really enjoy the marketing aspect of the job and meeting new people every day. My Psychology degree has taught me a lot about how to deal with the behaviors of the general public. While I am not directly in the Psychology field, the knowledge I gained from my courses is for sure used in my everyday work and personal life.
WHAT BRINGS YOU THE MOST PRIDE ABOUT BEING A BCP GRAD?
“I am extremely proud of being a BCP Grad. My journey through HHA and beyond has connected me with an incredibly diverse and resilient community that has shaped who I am today. The relationship I built throughout my education both with my peers and educators has had a lasting impact on my personal and professional life. Being part of BCP has taught me adaptability, confidence, and the value of showing up as my authentic self. It has also given me a strong foundation to succeed in new environments while staying grounded in my roots.”
