City Springs Elementary / Middle School spent the past year reimagining its website to better showcase its school and spirited school culture. Working with Kalix Marketing Group digital and content experts, City Springs and Baltimore Curriculum Project (BCP) developed a more engaging website, which launched in July 2024.

What to Expect on the New Website:

  • Fresh Design: Experience a modern and visually appealing design that reflects the spirit of City Springs Elementary/Middle.
  • Easy Navigation: Find information about our school, programs, staff, and resources more intuitively on any device to discover what matters most to you.
  • Updated Calendar: Stay informed about school happenings, upcoming events, and important announcements through our regularly updated Calendar page.
  • Language Options: Experience the website in the language of your choice. We have incorporated language options to ensure that our content is accessible to a diverse and multilingual audience.
  • New Images: We’ve added lots of new photos of our school community throughout the site.

We believe the website will serve as a valuable resource for everyone connected to City Springs. When designing the website, we did so with a commitment to ensuring that everyone feels welcome and engaged. The new website follows the Baltimore City Public Schools’ guidelines for the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Standards for Accessible Design.

The timing of this launch of our new website is perfect! We are excited about welcoming back our Perkins parents, all our returning parents, and new parents, too. I hope that everyone will visit our new website. It is packed with information about our school and beautiful photos of our incredible students that show the joy that is felt at City Springs every day. They are sure to make you smile!

During the spring, Dr. Richetta and her leadership team collaborated with BCP and Kalix’s design team to create a more cohesive logo. While the team reviewed a number of new designs, the ultimate decision was to tweak the school’s historic logo to reflect its deep community ties and nearly 60 years of serving as a vital resource for East Baltimore.

Remember: It’s not an attitude. It’s a color!
