To mark our 30th anniversary, we’re inviting parents, neighbors, community members, and friends to join us for one—or more—of our scheduled Volunteer Days of Service.
These events are a chance to give back, connect with our schools, and help create joyful, enriching experiences for Baltimore students. They are not only fun and engaging, but also a wonderful way to get to know our schools, staff, and students. We hope you will consider joining us!
January 16, 2026 | 9:00 AM–12:00 PM | Hampstead Hill Academy (500 S Linwood Ave)
Support budding historians during National History Day! Students will present research projects on historical topics of their choice, and volunteers play a key role in making the event a success. Volunteers can serve as judges by asking students questions and reviewing their work, help with timekeeping and room support to keep presentations on schedule, assist with set-up and clean-up, or simply be there to cheer on students and celebrate their hard work.
April 2026 (Date TBD) | City Springs Elementary/Middle School (100 S Caroline St)
City Springs’ House Teams—Unity, Believe, Courage, and Kindness—bring 3rd–6th graders together for monthly challenges. We need judges in April to help score activities and cheer on the teams!
The school is still finalizing the exact date and activity for April, but you can express your interest now, and we’ll reach out once all the details are confirmed.
May 2, 2026 | 12:00–3:00 PM | Govans Elementary (5801 York Rd)
Celebrate the diverse cultures of our community! Host a cultural table, lead an activity, or assist with set-up, clean-up, and event support during Govans’ International Day.
Can’t attend? Support by donating international snacks, art supplies, or decorations to help bring the event to life.
Thank you to all of the volunteers who have shown up and supported our events so far this year. Your time, energy, and commitment make a real difference, and we are deeply grateful for all that you do. Enjoy some photos from each of the events we’ve hosted so far this year.

Whether you’re an individual looking to volunteer or a company seeking to engage your team, we welcome your support. Please fill out the form below, and someone from our team will reach out to explore how you can make a difference in the lives of BCP students.
Please Note: Volunteering unsupervised with BCP is contingent upon passing the required state and FBI background checks.
At BCP, our work is strengthened by the support, expertise, and dedication of community partners who help us create vibrant, thriving schools. From local organizations and foundations to volunteers and businesses, these partnerships enhance student learning, support teachers, and strengthen our schools’ impact across Baltimore.
Each month, we highlight a partner whose contributions make a real difference—showcasing the people and organizations that share our commitment to education, equity, and innovation.
