Make a Difference at Our Schools

2025-2026 Volunteer Days of Service

To mark our 30th anniversary, we’re inviting parents, neighbors, community members, and friends to join us for one—or more—of our scheduled Volunteer Days of Service.

These events are a chance to give back, connect with our schools, and help create joyful, enriching experiences for Baltimore students. They are not only fun and engaging, but also a wonderful way to get to know our schools, staff, and students. We hope you will consider joining us!

House Competition at City Springs

April 24, 2026 | 8:45-10:15 AM | City Springs Elementary/Middle School (100 S Caroline St)

Students will participate in a series of outdoor activities on the Purple Field alongside their designated House, working together to demonstrate teamwork, effort, and sportsmanship. Judges will evaluate each House’s performance throughout the activities, with scores determining the overall winning House. The eight Houses—Respect, Discipline, Resilience, Cooperation, Focus, Empathy, Integrity, and Pride—represent the core values that guide our school community.

International Day at Govans

May 2, 2026 | 12:00–3:00 PM | Govans Elementary (5801 York Rd)

Celebrate the diverse cultures of our community! Host a cultural table, lead an activity, or assist with set-up, clean-up, and event support during Govans’ International Day.

Can’t attend? Support by donating international snacks, art supplies, or decorations to help bring the event to life.

Community Partner Spotlight

At BCP, our work is strengthened by the support, expertise, and dedication of community partners who help us create vibrant, thriving schools. From local organizations and foundations to volunteers and businesses, these partnerships enhance student learning, support teachers, and strengthen our schools’ impact across Baltimore.

Each month, we highlight a partner whose contributions make a real difference—showcasing the people and organizations that share our commitment to education, equity, and innovation.
