October 23, 2026
Maryland State Delegate Mark Edelson, who represents District 46, recently visited Wolfe Street Academy (WSA), a Baltimore Curriculum Project (BCP) neighborhood public charter school, to learn more about the school and see its vibrant learning community in action.
During his visit, Delegate Edelson met with WSA Principal Mark Gaither and BCP President and CEO Laura Doherty, who shared an overview of the school’s history, its role in the community, and the work taking place to support student success. With nearly 20 years of serving Baltimore families, WSA continues to demonstrate the impact of a strong school-community partnership.
Delegate Edelson then toured the school, visiting classrooms, and seeing students and teachers engaged in learning firsthand. The visit offered an opportunity to showcase the dedicated educators, supportive environment, and meaningful learning experiences that make WSA a valued part of its community.
BCP appreciates Delegate Edelson’s interest in WSA and his commitment to learning more about the schools and communities he serves.
